A trio of boutique style accommodations in San Juan’s ever burgeoning Condado region, El Canario Inn, Canario by the Lagoon, and El Canario by the Sea, offer guests an affordable vacation experience.
Each of the canary centric properties (Canario is Spanish for canary) is a little different, appealing to a variety of tastes and temperaments.
The 25 room El Canario Inn, billed a as Spanish style bed and breakfast, is a block from the beach on Ashford avenue, a busy stretch of shops, restaurants, hotels and resorts.
El Canario by the Sea, with the same number of rooms, is just about “ 20 steps to the beach,” though none of its rooms have any ocean view.
It’s located close to the San Juan Marriott and Stellaris Casino, and also close ot busy Ashford Avene.
Canario by the lagoon, with 44 rooms, and the largest of the trio, is referred to as a “intimate European style hotel”
Its located in a more residential neighborhood, a block to the beach, near the well known Ocean Park, a popular sport for swimming and windsurfing, when conditions are right.
All three properties include a complimentary breakfast of cereals, fruits, coffee, and juice in the rates, and Canario by the Lagoon, just began offering free WIFI in all its rooms.
