Need to detoxify? Worried about ageing? Want to get rid of that pain in the neck?
Whatever your face or body needs, there’s a spa in St. Maarten waiting to welcome you.
The oldest spa on the island, L’Aqualigne, located at the Pelican Resort Club, was created by cosmetologist and philosopher Marc Van Theilen. It embraces natural remedies to promote beauty from the inside out.
A deep cleansing facial utilizes a multi step process, which includes a gentle peel and thermal stimulation with hot and cold gold-plated thermodyn, a massage and a nourishing mask.
The Christian Dior Spa, at The Cliffs, focuses on anti-aging treats like its state of the art micro-dermabrasion treatment to smooth, stimulate, tone and re-oxygenate the skin.
Other treatments include an anti-dark spot treatment, "a cellulite offensive" and a detoxifying, mask with a special blend of seaweed.
The Good Life Spa, at the Sonesta Maho Beach Resort & Casino, offers packages geared to expectant mothers and offers men’s treatments too.
The Hibiscus Spa, at The Westin St. Maarten Dawn Beach Resort & Spa makes it easy to sample it varied offerings.
The Heart of St. Maarten package features a 25 minute Swedish massage, a traditional European facial, brush exfoliation and an aromatic Vichy shower.
La Samanna Resort’s Elysees spa helps guests get in a vacation frame of mind. Its "just arrived" package includes a facial, a massage to rejuventate neck and lower back after traveling.
And for those who get a little too much sun, it also offers a "sunburn rescue" with a pure aloe-based thermal wrap.
