Polo isn't as popular as cricket or even horse racing, but the sport has a loyal, if not royal following. It is quite popular in Barbados, where the Barbados Polo Club hosts public matches at Holders in St. James. Jamaica and the Dominican Republic also have teams, and the Casa de Campo resort in the Dominican Republic has three polo fields. It hosts an annual Women's International Polo Tournament every spring.
