Nine Mornings Festival is celebrated annually during the nine mornings before Christmas December 16 to December 25.
This festival normally starts at 4 a.m. each day.
Nine Mornings before Christmas, Vincentians awake in the early hours of the morning and share a range of activities. There are baths in the sea, dances, bicycle riding and street concerts. In the rural areas, the final morning of the festivity usually ends with a steel band “jump-up.”
