Heineken Regatta sets sail in St. Maarten

Sailors from around the globe make their way to St. Maarten for theannual St. Maarten Regatta every March . The traditional three-day event kick-offs the racing season with the post-regatta Gill Commodores Cup, a one-day match racing series prior to the Heineken Regatta.
This International event plays host to more than 32 countries and over 180 entries, making it the largest regatta in the Region!
St. Maarten's Heineken Regatta has become a world-class sailing festival with musical performances and parties,which have attracted tens of thousands of sailors and sailing fans over the years. The regatta features a mix of round-the-buoys contests and point-to-point destination races against the backdrop of the sensational coastal views of St. Maarten.
Every night of the St. Maarten Heineken Regatta includes well known bands, Extraordinary cuisine and plenty of fun. Previous headliners of the Regatta have included Ziggy, The Wailers, Shaggy, The Marley Brothers, Jimmy Cliff, The Black Eyed Peas and the Neville Brothers.
