Ceremonial serenity
Much better than Las Vegas

Marriage is not always a bed of roses. Perhaps that is why many couples head here to take vows amidst the scent of frangipani, bougainvillea and oleander.
And while June is the most popular month for stateside weddings, the Caribbean attracts almost as many lovers year round as Las Vegas. The difference is of course a ceremony with serenity.
Brides and grooms, come from everywhere, arriving by land and sea to exchange vows on beaches beneath coconut palms, on the decks of villas with sweeping vistas and in mega yachts in sheltered harbors.
Most resort offer couples a range of packages for a wedding in Paradise. Though some opt for nuptials, punctuated with parasail and helicopters, most combine a traditional approach, punctuated with island flavor. They may have church or beach wedding with vows and conservative violin music, followed by a West Indian style barbecue and the ping ping of steel pan.
Though getting married on a tropical island is a dream come true, the happiest couples get into the laid-back island way of doing things and don't worry if they're caught in traffic or the weather isn't picture perfect.
